Gulf Paradise hotel hosts Philippine food festival

Gulf Paradise Hotel is hosting a 10-day Philippine food festival to coincide with the 114th anniversary of the declaration of the country’s independence on June 12.The event is held in co-ordination with the Philippines Embassy in Doha and a “dinner buffet of the finest dishes cooked in authentic style” by chef Leandro and a team from the Philippines will be offered until June 23.The buffet is priced at QR60 (adult) and QR30 for children below 12. The food festival is being held at Gulf Paradise Hotel’s ‘Al Thoraya Restaurant.’The “partner sponsors” for the event are Pepsi, Dilmah Tea and Gulf Star Event Deco.The table reservations will be taken for two time slots - from 6pm to 8pm and 8pm to 10pm.Gulf Paradise Hotel also said “guests could take their time to enjoy the spread in the buffet,” where there would be a “daily change of menu” with a variety of salads, soup, hot dishes and desserts.
