Mahalingam Shankar has been promoted as deputy CEO, finance, operations, services & technology; Laila Mohamed al-Hijazi as senior manager, central operations; Hassan Alfrangi as head of branch network; and Ahmed Shehata as head of quality control & contact centre.
The promotions are in line with the board’s plans to realise its strategic objectives. Salah Murad, chief executive of Ahli Bank, said: “We have recognised their contribution to the success of the bank and thank them for the hard work. I wish them all the success in their new responsibilities.”
