Mackeen Holding and Core Education and Consulting Solutions have signed a joint venture partnership to develop ‘Core thinking schools’ throughout Qatar.The agreement was signed by CEO of Mackeen Holdings, Ali al-Hashemi and chairman and global CEO of Core Education and Technologies, Sanjeev Mansotra.Al-Hashemi said he was delighted to be working with one of the world’s largest education companies to bring best practices and provide more high quality education in Qatar.He explained that Mackeen is now in the process of developing an educational facility, setting on area of about 45,000sqm and an initial investment of around QR300mn.Mansotra stated: “This is a momentous occasion for Core. We saw convergence in our vision of bringing the best of technology-enabled education systems to Qatar and are excited about this opportunity to partner with Mackeen Holding.”“Mackeen’s expertise in executing large scale government developmental projects across sectors in the Middle East and Europe coupled with our world class solutions for schools, higher education and employability education will be the cornerstone of success for this joint venture,” he added.Core is also working with other companies in the region, explained Mansotra.
