Chief of Staff meets Bulgarian leaders

Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev and the country’s Prime Minister Marin Raikov met Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces HE Major General Hamad bin Ali al-Attiyah, and his accompanying delegation, currently visiting Sofia.

Discussions during the meetings dealt with bilateral relations in various fields.

The meetings was attended by Mohamed Ali Saeed al-Nuaimi, Qatar’s Ambassador to Bulgaria and the delegation accompanying the Chief of Staff.  

Major General al-Attiyah and his accompanying delegation also attended the military parade, held to mark the Day of the Bulgarian Army in the main square of the capital Sofia on Monday night.
