Al-Attiyah visits families of Villaggio fire victims

HE the Chairman of the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority, Abdullah bin Hamad al-Attiyah expressing his condolences to a family member of a victim of the Villaggio mall fire

HE the Chairman of the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority, Abdullah bin Hamad al-Attiyah, who is also head of the ad hoc committee investigating the Villaggio mall fire, visited the families of the victims yesterday. HE al-Attiyah briefed the families on the committee’s findings and the action it took during its work. Al-Attiyah stressed that the findings of the probe into the tragic incident at Villaggio commercial complex will be reflected, in future, in the laws and monitoring levels to secure the lives of all citizens and residents of Qatar. Meanwhile, Qatar’s Ambassador to Morocco Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Turki al-Subaie has visited the father and the family members of the civil defence firefighter Hossam Shahboon who died in the Villaggio mall fire and offered condolences.
