HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani, HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor al-Thani have sent cables of congratulations to the Kuwaiti Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah for the successful surgery he underwent yesterday.

Vodafone quiz to be held today
Vodafone Brain Hunt Inter-Schools quiz contest would be held at MES Indian School KG auditorium today.
The qualifying rounds (written leg) will start at 9am and the final featuring top six pairs from as many schools will be held between 11am and 12.30pm.
Apart from Asian expatriate schools, students from some of the international schools are also expected for this year’s contest, said Kannu Backer, who anchors the competition.
