PM holds talks with Egyptian leaders

HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor al-Thani yesterday met Egyptian President Mohamed Mursi at the Egyptian presidency headquarters.

They reviewed relations between Qatar and Egypt and discussed means of enhancing and developing them in all fields, in addition to the current developments.

The Prime Minister also met Egyptian Premier Hisham Kandil.

During the meeting, held at the Egyptian cabinet premises here, they reviewed relations between Egypt and Qatar and means of developing them in all aspects.

The two sides also discussed regional developments, especially the Palestinian issue and the situation in Syria.

Later the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister left Cairo wrapping up a short visit to Egypt.

He was seen off at Cairo International Airport by Egyptian Civil Aviation Minister Wael el-Maadawy and Qatar’s Ambassador to Egypt Saif Muqaddam al-Buainein, who is also his country’s permanent delegate to the Arab League.
