Safari Group signs partnership pact with Qatar Charity

The Qatar Charity has signed a partnership and co-operation agreement with Safari Group of Companies which allows the company customers to donate their account surplus component of dirhams and excess riyals to the Qatar Charity projects, both inside and outside the country.

The agreement was formally signed between Director of Public Relations and Media in Qatar Charity Mubarak Qabeesi and Managing Director of Safari Group Madappat Aboobacker.

The group under the convention of co-operation and partnership put option for its customers to donate the remaining fractions of dirhams and other banknotes for those who wish, whether in cash or credit card in favour of Qatar Charity projects.

In response  to the agreement Mubarak Qabeesi said their Charity’s agreement is witnessing a good turnout from companies, institutions, banks, commercial complexes and shopping malls.

The Qatar Charity, he said, seeks through its initiative pilot “project of recycling dirhams” to set up humanitarian and developmental projects, work to help the needy and the poor and destitute in the State of Qatar and abroad.

Madappat said the overwhelming interest to co-operate with Qatar Charity shows his group’s ongoing policy of contributing for charitable activities.

He said every year Safari Group provides free ticket for needy expatriate of different nations to return to their native places through their respective embassies.

He also added that donating these small amounts would help contribute to the implementation of several charitable developmental projects of Qatar Charity.
