Envoy hosts dinner for Indonesia officials

Visiting Indonesian officials who attended the dinner hosted by Ambassador Hadi.

Indonesia is participating in the 8th International Chambers of Commerce (ICC) World Chambers Congress with a team of 15 officials.

They are from Indonesian ICCI, Committee for Middle East and Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) Countries, Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry;  Jakarta Chamber of Commerce and Industry;  National Board for The Placement and Protection of Indonesia Overseas Workers and Indonesian Manpower Agency.

Yukki Nugrahawan Hanafi, the head of Jakarta Chamber of Commerce and Industry delegation, spoke in a session on ‘World Class Cities’ explaining the economic development of Indonesia, and Jakarta City in particular.

Indonesia also has a booth in the exhibition, featuring information on business opportunity, investment, tourism and skilled manpower. Also on display are brochures of Indonesian grocery stores and restaurants in Doha.

The Indonesian Ambassador to Qatar, Deddy Saiful Hadi, hosted on Tuesday a welcome dinner for the Indonesian delegation along with Indonesian Business Association in Qatar and the representatives of Indonesian organisations in Qatar.

The gathering was also attended by the Indonesian delegation to the 10th Doha International Conference for Interfaith Dialogue, including Muslim scholar Dr Din Syamsudin, and Prof Dr Achmad Gunaryo, from the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs.
