HH the Deputy Emir and Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani issued Emiri Decision No 25 of 2013 appointing Abdulrahman Ali Rabaih al-Ajaj al-Kubaisi as ambassador to Mauritania.
HH the Deputy Emir and Heir Apparent also Issued Emiri Decision No 27 of 2013 appointing Hussein Ahmed Mohamed al-Humaid as ambassador to Cyprus.
The two decisions shall be implemented on the date of issue and are to be published in the official gazette.
Qatar-Libya ties reviewed
President of the General National Congress (GNC) of Libya Dr Mohamed Yousef Almagarief has received a written message from HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani, pertaining to bilateral relations and issues of mutual concern.
The message was handed over by Charge d’Affaires of the Qatari embassy in Libya Nayef Abdullah al-Emadi during a meeting with President Almagarief at the Presidential Palace.
Advisory Council holds meeting
The Advisory Council held its regular weekly session yesterday chaired by its Speaker HE Mohamed bin Mubarak al-Kholaifi.
The Council reviewed a draft law regulating the practice of Haj and Umrah services, and decided to refer it to the Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee for a report.
The Council also reviewed a draft law regulating nurseries, and decided to refer it to the Services and Public Utilities Committee.
