Father and son win golf tournament

Wayne Manuel teaming up with his son Jeff Manuel emerged victorious in the golf tournament organised by Qatar Golf Lovers over the weekend at the Doha Golf Club. 32 teams participated in the event which was played on ‘Texas Scramble’ format.

Jeff Penney / Shane McEchern carded the same net score as the winners but had to settle for the second prize on countback. Pierre Phillipe won the ‘longest putt’, Richard Msweli  won the ‘longest drive’, Kim Critchley won the ‘closest to rope’ and Colin Mitchell won the ‘closest to pin’ prizes.

QGL organised a prize distribution function later in the morning at the Doha Golf Club and gave away prizes to all winners.
