Heir Apparent meets outgoing ambassadors

HH the Deputy Emir and Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani met the outgoing ambassador of Iraq to Qatar Dr Jawad al-Hindawi at the Emiri Diwan yesterday.  The Deputy Emir and Heir Apparent praised the efforts made by the Iraqi ambassador in bolstering relations between the two countries, wishing him success in his future assignments and the relations between Qatar and Iraq more progress and prosperity.  For his part, the Iraqi ambassador expressed thanks and gratitude to the Deputy Emir and Heir Apparent and the officials in the State for the co-operation he received during his tenure.  Separately, the Deputy Emir and Heir Apparent also met Lebanon’s outgoing ambassador to Qatar Hassan Youssef Saad. The Deputy Emir and Heir Apparent awarded the Lebanese ambassador (right) the Sash of Merit in appreciation to his efforts to promote the relations between the two countries. The Deputy Emir wished the ambassador success in his future assignments and the relations between Qatar and Lebanon more progress and prosperity.  The Lebanese ambassador expressed thanks and gratitude to the Deputy Emir and Heir Apparent and the officials in the State for the co-operation accorded to him during his tour of duty.
