Qatar Executive woos customers at Geneva show with range of services

Qatar Airways’ corporate jet division Qatar Executive is set to unveil its custom-made new elegant exhibition stand at Europe’s leading business aviation show EBACE in Geneva next week.The annual show at the Palexpo Exhibition Centre in the Swiss city on May 14-16 is hosting 400 companies that are wooing 10,000 visitors from 31 countries.Qatar Executive, which launched in 2009, has seen phenomenal growth and will use the three-day event to present its diversified service portfolio and innovative new products to the business aviation community, including business leaders, government officials, manufacturers, and aviation-related firms from Europe, Africa, Asia, North America and the Middle East.“EBACE is the perfect opportunity for Qatar Executive to showcase its latest products and services to customers and the business aviation industry in general,” said Qatar Airways Chief Executive Officer Akbar al-Baker. “We are in the midst of a substantial expansion and this key event is the right platform to enthral our high-profile audience and to outline our strategic growth plans.”Since its inception, Qatar Executive has rapidly build up a lucrative business backed by the global expertise and track record of its award-winning parent carrier, Qatar Airways.In response to the growing demand for business jet services from the Middle East and around the world, the division has strengthened its market position by diversifying its service portfolio, now encompassing not just its core business of aircraft charters, but also aircraft management, maintenance and a full range of Fixed Based Operation (FBO) services. Earlier this year, Qatar Executive was appointed Bombardier’s newest Authorised Service Facility in Doha, allowing Qatar Airways’ corporate jet division to provide maintenance, repair and warranty services for Bombardier Challenger 300, Challenger 604, Challenger 605 and the manufacturer’s entire Global family of business jets.Against this background, a high-powered team of Qatar Executive representatives from different areas such as sales & and marketing, maintenance & repair, in-flight product and ground services will be present at the Geneva show to develop new business opportunities.Qatar Executive operates six wholly-owned Bombardier aircraft, a number set to expand to meet the growing demand for premium private jet services in the Middle East and globally.
