Jaidah Group has forged partnerships with Fronius of Austria and Hypertherm of the US.
The partnerships by Jaidah Group subsidiary Jaidah Industrial Supply Division were sealed at the recently concluded Project Qatar 2012.Fronius is a tech-heavy company with expertise in welding technologies, while Hypertherm designs and manufactures metal/material cutting systems for use in a variety of industries such as shipbuilding, manufacturing, and automotive repair.“Qatar is emerging as the most important market in the region. Shipping, in particular, is a sector that will be a focus for Fronius and we’re very optimistic about our nascent partnership with Jaidah Group,” Korayem Razik, regional sales manager of the Austrian company, said.Steel fabrication is a growing business in Qatar, and with the 2022 World Cup in mind Hypertherm is keen to penetrate the Qatari market, according to Liana Groenendijk, brand and communication manager of Hypertherm.“We’re excited about these two new partnerships and confident that they will be of benefit to all concerned parties and, most importantly, the end consumer,” Jaidah Group’s chief development officer Mohamed Jaidah said, adding that its presence in the expo presented an opportunity to get leading brands on board.
