Three interceptor missiles fired from an Israeli Iron Dome defence missile system appear to strike three incoming Grad missiles fired from inside the Gaza Strip near Ashdod, Israel. Israeli scientists released a report stating the percentage of Iron Dome defence system missile intercepts against Grad missiles fired by fighters inside the Gaza Strip during Operation Pillar of Defence could be as low as 5%, as opposed to the nearly 85% rate claimed by the Israeli Defence Forces.
