Exquisite display leaves al-Attiyah impressed

The Chairman of the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority, HE Abdullah bin Hamad al-Attiyah, yesterday toured the 10th Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition (DJWE), currently being held at the Doha Exhibition Centre.

Al-Attiyah inspected all pavilions at the exhibition, expressing his admiration over the display of  leading jewellery and watches brands.

He told reporters at the end of his tour that the Doha exhibition was now one of the most important international shows specialised in its field.

He said Qatar now occupied a “leading position” in the world, thanks to the wise leadership of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa  al-Thani.

Qatari exhibitors this year include Alfardan Jewellery, Ali Bin Ali Group, Al Majed Jewellery, Al Muftah Jewellery, Amiri Gems, Al Jaber Watches, Bulgari Jewellery and Matis Jewellery.

The exhibition, which was opened to the public on February 26, concludes today.
