Albuainain honouring one of the contractors at the HSE contractors’ meeting

Dolphin Energy has awarded seven locally based contractors with recognition awards for their “continued commitment” to improving effective communication strategies and enhancing overall standards across health, safety and environment (HSE).  The awards were distributed at Dolphin Energy’s fifth annual HSE contractors’ meeting, which was held under the slogan “Improving effective communication strategies between Dolphin Energy and contractors to improve overall safety performance.”  The contractor companies that received recognition were QCON, Madina, EMCO, DESCON, Rolls Royce, Kaefer and Tyco Qatar Fire and Security. The meeting  was led by Dolphin Energy’s general manager (Qatar) Adel Ahmed Albuainain, along with Dolphin Energy senior management members Ibrahim Jeham al-Kuwari, deputy general manager; Hassan al-Emadi, vice president (Qatar), Ali al-Rahbi, vice-president (QHSE&S) Jassim al-Malki, HSE&S Manager (Qatar).Albuainain said: “Our contractors are integral to the efforts undertaken to achieve HSE excellence. As such, their contribution and ideas are welcomed to further enhance HSE behaviours and strengthen the safety culture across Dolphin Energy.” The contractors’ meeting also featured a  panel discussion  on HSE issues and provided a platform to  share ideas on how  to ensure a safe workplace at all the times.
