PM attends Munich security conference

HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor al-Thani attending the 49th Munich Security Conference in the German city of Munich yesterday. The conference brings together foreign affairs and defence decision makers from around the world. The Premier warned the international community that “prolongation of the Syrian crisis through hesitation and procrastination to achieve narrow self interests will turn the entire Middle East region into a volcano of war and turmoil.” The Prime Minister left Munich later in the afternoon. He was seen off at Munich International Airport by Qatar’s Ambassador to Germany Abdul Rahman bin Mohamed al-Khulaifi.
