Harley unveils Custom Qatar Softail
Harley-Davidson Qatar has unveiled a Custom Qatar Softail for bike enthusiasts in this country. The iconic brand is being represented at Qatar Motor Show by Nasser Bin Khaled Holding, the exclusive dealer of Harley-Davidson in Qatar.“Qatar has a very active Harley Davidson community and we look forward to showcasing our renowned motorcycles to loyal riders and potential new members of the Harley community at the event,” chairman and CEO Sheikh Nawaf Nasser bin Khaled al-Thani said. The bike, created via modifications to a standard Deluxe bike, boasts of a custom paint job with the Qatari flag, and images of the Doha skyline on the tank. “The entire customisation has been done in Doha,” said Robert Andrew Kelly, Harley-Davidson Doha dealer principal. The bike costs QR159,000.NBK Holdings recently opened a new superstore, relocating from Al Wakrah to a showroom on Salwa Road, featuring the latest collection of Harleys along with some of the brand’s most exclusive motorcycles. Harley riders can also access a complete range of merchandise - from fashion items to maintenance kits and accessories. Harley-Davidson’s presence at the Qatar Motor Show is described as an excellent start to a year that also marks the 110th anniversary of the brand. In December, the Qatar dealership was given the Strategic Market Growth Award for 2012 at the Tak-Dear awards in Dubai, outpacing other dealers in MENA, Africa, Europe and Russia.
