People gather at Sangam, the confluence of the rivers Ganges and Yamuna and the mythical Saraswati, on the occasion of Paush Purnima during the Maha Kumbh Mela in Allahabad yesterday. The Kumbh Mela in the northern town will see up to 100mn gather over the next 50 days to take a ritual bath.
