The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) recently played host to a group of visiting young pupils from the Mohamed bin Jasem Al Thani Preparatory Boys School to its headquarters. Building Projects manager Abdulla al-Ajemi and Designs Management acting manager Mohamed al-Baker addressed the young students, giving a broad view of the infrastructure projects undertaken by Ashghal on behalf of the state. The Designs Management manger gave a glimpse of how the design process works, exhibiting designs of some state institution buildings such as schools and health centres, and general amenities such as public parks and play grounds. The students were happy with the outcome of a fruitful visit that provided them the opportunity to know the importance of vital projects in the state and they lauded the efforts of Ashghal in improving Qatar’s infrastructure. The student supervisor of the school also handed over a token gift to Ashghal Public Relations and Communication manager Abdulla Saad al-Saad.
