Commercialbank has signed an agreement with Alfardan Exchange to introduce a new international remittance programme, under which the bank’s payroll card holders will “enjoy easy access remittance services” through its country-wide ATM network.The agreement was signed by Dean Proctor, Commercialbank executive general manager (retail and consumer banking) and Fahad Alfardan, director, Alfardan Group and president, Alfardan Exchange.“This remittance service fulfils an important need of our expatriate customers, saving time and effort especially for those that use international remittance services on a regular basis. Commercialbank is committed to providing comprehensive banking solutions across our customer segments,” Proctor said. “Given the current growth of remittances in the country, this service will serve a definite purpose easing both local and international money transfers, with greater speed and efficiency. With over 27 branches and a wide ATM network, Commercialbank is confident that this programme will benefit many expatriates living in Qatar,” Commercialbank said.
