QNB launches new loyalty programme

QNB yesterday launched a total relationship loyalty programme - QNB Life Rewards - under which customers can earn points by using various retail banking products and channels.The bank said it has developed an “exciting, easy-to-understand and simple-to-use process” to ‘earn and redeem’ points.Customers will be able to earn ‘Life Rewards Points’ by using various retail banking products and channels. For instance, customers will receive Life Rewards Points by using their newly issued QNB Life credit or debit card, or by maintaining a monthly balance for current or savings accounts, as well as payments of personal, vehicle or mortgage loans.Life Rewards Points can be redeemed in various ways. Customers will be able to pay their credit card outstanding balance, pay utility bills as well as being able to exchange the accumulated points instantly at QNB’s participating partners’ outlets, fully or partially. Additionally, they can convert their Life Rewards Points into other loyalty programmes. “What differentiates QNB’s Life Rewards from other loyalty programmes is the multitude of ways that customers can manage their points beyond the instant redemption at partners’ outlets. Redeeming points to pay for credit card outstanding balance or utility bills can simply be done from any QNB ATMs. The customer can in addition do the same and manage its loyalty points such as exchanging them into other partner’s loyalty programmes points from QNB Internet Banking in just a few clicks,” QNB said.All QNB customers with at least one QNB Life Rewards credit or debit card will be automatically enrolled into the Life Rewards programme. The programme is free for life, and has been designed to maximise customer satisfaction and cater to all personal and banking needs.Supplementary card owners will also get the chance to ‘earn and redeem’ Life Rewards Points, which will then be accounted for on the primary card holder’s rewards account. QNB customers will be notified each time they redeem Life Rewards Points through a text message, if they are registered for SMS or by viewing their monthly transactions through QNB online banking service. The programme will cater to a range of customers with “unique” banking needs, QNB said. Due to the simplicity of the system QNB anticipates that its customers will be motivated to actively participate in the programme for their personal gains.
