The Gate mall in West Bay, adjacent to Salam Stores, celebrated Mother’s Day by hosting a group of women from the Qatar Foundation for Elderly People Care.The event was organised as part of The Gate’s corporate social responsibility programme and in appreciation of the efforts by the Foundation to improve the lives and status of elderly individuals.The visitors were taken on a site tour to explore the mall and its sections and shops, including the beautiful Gallery of Crystals.At Hind Al Oud, the recently opened perfume shop on the first floor, the women were presented with a Mother’s Day gift.The tour ended by hosting the ladies at one of The Gate’s restaurants, ‘Farggi,’ a Spanish concept at the mall.The Gate also celebrated Mother’s Day by distributing special Patchi boxes of chocolates to shoppers and providing special offers in all the F&B outlets, especially for mothers.
