The 2012 Oryx GTL Family Day was organised recently under the theme ‘Oryx GTL Family moving for Fitness and Health’.During the event held at Diplomatic Club, several activities including boat trips were organised. The event gave employees an opportunity to interact in an informal setting. The gathering united over 600 employees from 32 different countries.There was also a traditional Majlis where everyone could enjoy traditional food and see different Qatari crafts and other activities. This particular part of the Family Day attracted a lot of attention, especially during the Falcon exhibition, when employees had the chance to see, touch and even take souvenir pictures. During the events there were several raffle draws in which employees had the opportunity to win LCD televisions, appliances and coupons for restaurants across Qatar, and even four tickets to fly to any destination courtesy of Etihad Airways.The event closed with a Talent Show.
