Ameer al-Baker was crowned the champion of the Qatar National Sprint 2012. The Qatari driver with a Mitsubishi EVO7 was crowned champion of 2012 season last weekend at Losail International Circuit. After five rounds, Ameer garnered 115 points in the championship.
Manjunatha Kerekoppa, with 66 points took the second place ahead Lebanese driver Fadal al-Beainain who finished third with a tally of 63 points. The trophies were given by Sultan al-Morraikhi (QMMF Board Member). The new season of Qatar National Sprint 2013 will start on 18th January 2013.
