HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor al-Thani met yesterday evening Secretary General of the Arab League Dr Nabil al-Arabi, who is visiting Qatar to participate in the ministerial meeting of the Arab Peace Initiative Committee and the meeting of the Arab Ministerial Committee on Syria. During the meeting they discussed the most important topics on the agenda of the two meetings which will be held today in Doha. Meanwhile, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas yesterday arrived in Doha for a several days’ visit to Qatar. HE Minister of State Sheikh Hamad bin Nasser bin Jassim al-Thani and Palestinian Ambassador to Qatar Monir Abdullah Ghanam welcomed Abbas upon arrival at Doha Airport.
