Speechcraft finale a grand success

The 6th Speechcraft Programme of Dukhan Toastmasters had the esteemed presence of patron and guide Ahmed Saif al-Sulaiti, Operations Manager of Qatar Petroleum Dukhan, as the chief guest of the event.

Al-Sulaiti, through his inspirational words, motivated the Dukhan Club members in developing themselves as better leaders and communicators.

Hussain al-Qahtani, the Community Relations Officer and representative of Integrated Facilities, was the guest of honour.  Jones, the Head Master of Dukhan English School, who has been a constant source of support to Dukhan Toastmasters Club, was the other guest of honour.

All Speechcrafters, the chief co-ordinator and VP Education TM Luis Peres, assistant co-ordinators TM Sridevi, TM Pareeduddin, TM Sesacharan, TM Selvan, co-ordinators and module presenters who were present received their certificates of the Speechcraft Programme from the Operations Manager.

DTM Sameer Hassan Moosa, the visionary of Dukhan Toastmasters Club, received a special award from the Operations Manager for making the Dukhan Club proud in the division and district through several individual achievements and team building exercises.

The highlight of the event was that 13 new Speechcrafters were inducted as members of Dukhan Toastmasters Club during this event. The Speechcrafters showcased the skills acquired through the programme during the educational session. Master of ceremonies TM Peter D’Souza introduced the theme of the evening ‘Together We Can’ and knitted the complete session around this.

A token of appreciation was presented to Hussain al-Qahtani by ADGET, Saquib Raza Khan and to Area-51 Governor Ashraf Siddiqui by Past Area-28 Governor, TM Ravi.

The evening ended with a grand dinner.
