Emir offers condolences to Sharjah ruler

HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani offered condolences to Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohamed al-Qasimi, the UAE Supreme Council member and Ruler of Sharjah on the death of Sheikh Humaid bin Mohamed bin Saqr al-Qasimi, when the Ruler of Sharjah met him and the accompanying delegation at Al Badi’a Palace yesterday. The Emir also offered condolences to the ruling family on the death of Sheikh Humaid bin Mohamed bin Saqr al-Qasimi. The meeting was attended by Sheikh Sultan bin Mohamed bin Sultan al-Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah besides a number of Sheikhs and officials of the Emirate. Earlier on arrival in Sharjah, the Emir and the accompanying delegation were welcomed by the Ruler of Sharjah, a number of senior officials and Abdullah bin Mohamed al-Othman Qatar’s Ambassador to the UAE. Later in the evening, the Emir returned home after a short visit to Sharjah. The Emir and the accompanying delegation were seen off at Sharjah International Airport by the Ruler of Sharjah, a number of senior officials and Qatar’s Ambassador to the UAE. HH the Emir was accompanied during the visit by HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa al-Thani, the Special Adviser to the Emir, and a number of ministers.
