The Qatar chapter of the Alumni of Sree Kerala Varma College (Thrissur) has decided to hold more community assistance programmes in coming months.At a recent gathering held at the Skills Development Centre, New Salata, the forum members said they would also set up a helpline for the former students of the college, working in Qatar. The details of the help a helpline would soon be announced, said president G K Menon.The forum will also hold a gathering of its members and their families to coincide with the New Year celebrations, said secretary Karunakar Menon.
