Dolphin Energy fetes Qatari staff

Dolphin Energy Qatar has held its annual Nationals Forum, hosting the company’s 300 Qatari employees at Sheraton.In his address, Dolphin Energy general manager (Qatar), Adel Ahmed Albuainain, highlighted the company achievements in increasing the nationalisation level in the last 12 months. This included successful participation in this year’s Qatar Career Fair, continued support for initiatives run by leading educational institutions in the country, and ongoing provision of internship and work placement programmes.“We have continued our efforts to attract Qataris to the company and have increased the total number of Qatari employees to 30%. This means we have met our annual target to increase the level by 5%, three months ahead of schedule. This represents solid progress and I would like to congratulate all for their efforts.”Albuainain also explained details of the 60% increase in Qatar employee salaries in response to the recent Emiri Decree. “This is a very positive move and one that we endorse in helping provide support for our Qatari colleagues,” he continued.The Nationals Forum was attended by special guests of Dolphin Energy Qatar and included Abu Baker al-Saiari (Qatar Petroleum), Abdulla al-Mansoori (Qatar Career Fair) and Asma Mirzaei (General Secretariat of Development Planning).
