The Sheraton Doha Resort and Convention Hotel has announced that the hotel’s executive chef, Josef Gschwantner has recently won the ‘President’s Award’ for 2010.The award denotes Gschwantner as one of the best hotel associates within the Starwood Hotels and Resorts group worldwide.“Thanks to his mastery of culinary art and service of excellence, chef Josef has certainly enhanced his reputation since he joined the Sheraton Doha in 2008,” said a spokesperson.General manager of the Sheraton, Steven Kalczynski, said: “I was very pleased to see chef Josef win this prestigious award from Starwood.”“Since my arrival in April, I quickly recognised that the Chef is one of the most dedicated and respected associates of the Sheraton Doha Resort and Convention Hotel,” he said, adding “the President’s Award is truly the highest honour as you are recognised by your peers.”
