Abdullah Abdulghani & Bros. Co., WLL (AAB), distributor for Toyota & Lexus in Qatar, has announced the winner of the “Toyota Dream Car Art Contest” for students, held in January at the Toyota Showroom. The drawing contest was attended by more than 100 children from various schools in Qatar.The contest was organised as part of a wider competition held by Toyota Motor Corporation in more than 50 countries around the world, with a total participation of more than 120,000 children.The “Toyota Dream Car Art Contest” aims to create an opportunity for children through drawing pictures of their “dream cars” under the theme “Your Dream - The Car of the Future” to develop their interest in cars, and further understand the joy and importance of having a dream.Aby Abraham, 8th grade student at Birla Public School, Doha, has emerged as the winner of the Finalist Certificate for his painting titled “Eco-friendly H2O fuelled Multipurpose Green Car”. The Finalist Certificate, signed by Akio Toyoda, president of Toyota Motor Corporation, was presented to Abraham by Karim Manssour-Dahbi, Chief Executive Officer of AAB in his office at Al Abdulghani Tower.Karim, while congratulating the youngster, wished him a very bright future ahead and told him he has made his parents, school and the country proud. Abraham’s family joined him on the occasion.The Dream Car Contest organised by Toyota Motor Corporation, Japan, is getting more popular every year with increased number of students covering more countries participating in the global contest. Abdullah Abdulghani and Bros. are planning to organise the next contest on a larger scale early next year.
