Vodafone’s Ramadan Football tournament launched on August 4 has seen eight matches held. Now 23 matches remain until one team is crowned the winner. Eight teams of young Qatari and Arab men are battling it out at Al Gharafa Sports Club. The teams are named Al Majlis FC, MBF, Vodafone, Victory FC, Malaga, Al Gharafa, Omani Boys and Majlis Al-Nasr.Al Majlis FC were 7-4 winners of the first match against MBF. In match two, Victory FC beat the Vodafone team 21-0. Match three saw a win for Majlis Al-Nasr who beat Omani boys 3-1. Match four was claimed by Al Gharafa who beat team Malaga 3-2. In match five, Al Majlis beat Malaga 4-1. In match six there was a tie between MBF and Majlis Al-Nasr 1-1. Match seven saw Al Gharafa defeat Victory FC beating them 4-3 and in Match eight, Omani Boys played against Vodafone beating them 11-1.
