Mascots entertaining children as part of Hyatt Plaza’s Summer Festival

Hyatt Plaza will today draw its ‘Summer Festival’ celebrations to a close, marking what senior officials have described as a successful and fun-filled fortnight of activities.Since July 7, the shopping centre has welcomed a number of well-known characters including SpongeBob, Barney, The Smurfs and Lulu Caty among others.“As the only summer festival in Doha, Hyatt Plaza event was received by the customers with unprecedented enthusiasm,” claimed a spokesperson, adding “it was a fun treat for shoppers, with smiles, joy and energy all around.”General manager of Hyatt Plaza Feroz Moideen said: “We are extremely delighted by the marvellous response received from our customers.”The festival featured daily parades by the mascots. Aminah, mother of 12-year-old Nasser, said: “My son is so thrilled. I took a photo of him with his favourite SpongeBob - we really enjoyed our evening today.” “At Hyatt Plaza, we always believe it as our duty to provide a fun-filled environment for the families,” said assistant marketing manager, Fuad Shaqadan, adding “we shall always strive to fulfil our commitment as a family shopping destination.”“We hope that people who chose to spend this summer in Doha were not disappointed as they had Hyatt Plaza Summer Festival to cherish - we are planning to organise more exciting events for our customers during the Ramadan and Eid,” the spokesperson added.
