Pak schools score 100% pass in SSC-1 exams

Pakistani schools in Qatar have scored 100% pass percentage in the SSC-1 examinations of the Islamabad-based Federal Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education.Out of the 173 students who appeared from the Pakistan Education Centre, 44 secured the highest grade of A1 (more than 80% marks) and 45 others secured A grade (70 to 80%).While scoring a 100% pass percentage, eight students of Pak Shamaa School & College secured A1 grade.At PEC, Aemon Yaqoob Qamar was the top scorer with 481/525 (91.66%), while Maryam Habib Ahmad with 480/525 and Nadia Khan with 479, were second and third top scorers, respectively.PEC students who secured A1 grade include Aemon Yaqoob Omar (481), Maryam Habib Ahmad (480), Nadia Khan (479), Naila (473), Anum Mansoor (470), Iqra Nasir (469), Bibi Athima (463), Talal Ali (459), Sidra Mateen (459), Mariam Noor (459), Ameer Hamza (456), Muhib ur Rehman (453), Waseeq-ur Rehman (452), Nayab Munir Malik (452), Umaima Usman (452), Aisha Adnan (451), Reda (450), Eman Mohamed Kaleem (446), Saira Farooq (444), Naveen Tariq (441), Mahmood (438, Zahra (438), Mohamed Tahir Akeel (437), Malik Amir Hamza (437), Shaima (436), Zirwa Siddique Rana (436), Haleema Hanif (434), Maha (434), Iqra Kanwal Khan (433), Khalid Nasir (428), Mohamed Usman (428), Shakir Saleem (428), Abdullah Mohamed (427), Shazil Ali (427), Fahad Rashid (426), Abdul Basit (426), Kainat Malik (425), Iman (425), Rafiq (424), Omer (423), Roqayya (423), Mohamed Hamza Babar (422), Saif ur Rehman (422) and Aisha (421).Among the Pak Shamaa students, Maira Javed topped the science group with a score of 472/525 while Ayesha was second highest scorer with 469/525. Other high scorers included Mohamed Osma Usman (463/525), Shaheryar Ghouri (457), Ahmed Zafar (455), Shama (428), Mohamed Hamza Khan (426) and Ishrat (422).The Pakistani ambassador to Qatar, Mohamed Sarfraz Khanzada, who is also the chairman of the board of governors of PEC has lauded the staff, parents and students for producing good results. PEC acting principal Raja Nasir Mahmood and second counsellor at the embassy Mohamed Afzal Shaikh also praised the PEC students. Pak Shamaa principal Nabila Kaukab complimented the efforts of her schoolchildren in the examination. She also praised the support extended to the children by their parents, and teachers.
