Toastmasters – Qatar Division E, district 20 has conducted the first club officers training session for the incoming executive committee members for 2011-2012.The session at DPS Modern Indian School was attended by more than 200 participants, who learnt about the various leadership roles at the club level.Division E governor TM Krishna Kumar opened the session and assistant division governor TM Yasir Nainar managed the team of trainers.The Toastmasters, which has been active in Qatar for the last 14 years, has grown into a division with its membership growth reaching four figures with 35 clubs and eight areas.In the district conference held in Jordan, it was decided to split the district into two – districts 20 and 79. Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, the UAE, Jordan and Lebanon make up the new district 20.
