Audi is entering a new vehicle class with the new Audi A1 arriving in Qatar this month. The compact A1 condenses all of the virtues of the brand with the four rings – a progressive design, uncompromising quality and groundbreaking efficiency – within a space of less than four metres. Mostapha al-Khatib, General Manager Audi Qatar said: “The A1 is both a modern city car and a sporty all-rounder for an active lifestyle. It is the first premium car in the subcompact segment – a true, fully-fledged Audi and judging by the number of inquiries, especially from the young generation, it will be a success in Qatar.”Audi is rolling out the new model with a 122 hp four-cylinder 1.4 TFSI engine.It follows the downsizing principle by substituting turbocharging for displacement and the recuperation system further helps to provide efficiency. As a standard for the Middle East it comes with especially developed super hot country settings, 4 years / 60,000 km service and 3 years warranty.
