Vodafone-Qatar has recently celebrated with 20 customers who won prizes as part of the network’s World Calling Club ‘Win a Home When You Call Back Home’ competition.The competition gives customers the chance to win a grand prize of QR250,000 to put towards the construction of a house in their home country, whilst two weekly draws will continue to produce 10 winners of either a Vodafone 945 touchscreen phone or QR1,000 worth of vouchers for LuLu Hypermarket.The winners of the weekly draws so far were announced as Asgardi Ujjinwalla, Edgar Villas Secuya, Raouf Nasser, Sanjit Kumar Mishra, Shanti Mani Danai, Semhar Mehari Tesfamicael, Gada Suhail MH Afiana, Anura Kumara Dingapathige Sewrangage, Vinay Gangadharan, Ma Cristina Alano, Denny Ambadan Varghese, Gopi Madathil, Waris Miah Ainullah, Sheikh, Fouzal, Rabie Mahmoud, Shahidul Alam Taher, Dammika Thushan PK Don, Alaa Mohammed, Bahgat Mohammed and Kishan Kadduram.More winners will be announced on a weekly basis until June 29, with the winner of the grand prize to be announced in July.Customers are automatically entered into the competition with every minute of every international call they make and every SMS they send to an international destination.A spokesperson explained that Vodafone is currently offering international rates to over 190 countries at 65 dirhams a minute until the end of May, while SMS rates to India, Nepal and Sri Lanka will remain at 24 dirhams until May 13.
