QCCI officials meet German trade team

Officials of Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI) held a meeting with a delegation of German bsinessmen who are currently visiting Qatar.  The meeting, which was attended by a number of Qatari businessmen and their German counterparts, aimed to exchange views on the commercial opportunities available and co-operation between the two sides’ businessmen in the construction, infrastructure, energy, water, industrial equipment and construction equipment sectors. Chairman of QCCI, HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohamed al-Thani said in his address that Germany is considered an important partner of Qatar, noting that there is significant co-operation between Qatar and Germany,   in different investment fields. He added that there are a number of German companies that work in the field of building and construction as well as energy in Qatar. The chairman also pointed to the aggregation of Qatari investment in Germany in sectors like banking and automobiles.  Secretary General of the German Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industry Abdulaziz al-Mikhlafi pointed to keenness from both sides to enhance co-operation
