Masraf al-Rayan yesterday announced its sponsorship of Lekhwiya Sports Club, one of the top soccer clubs in Qatar and the defending champions of Qatar Stars League (QSL) this season. A sponsorship agreement was signed by Adel Mohammed Mustafawi, Group CEO of Masraf al-Rayan, and Khalifa Khamees al-Sulaiti, general supervisor of the football team at Lekhwiya Sports Club. Khalifa Khamees al-Sulaiti said: “We thank Masraf al-Rayan for their sponsorship of our team. This comes as no surprise to us for two reasons. First, since Masraf al-Rayan is one of Qatar’s most ardent sponsors, supportive of sports and secondly because Lekhwiya Sports Club, is a strong team billed to participate at the Asian Football Cup.”In his comments, Adel Mohammed Mustafawi said: “We are extremely delighted to announce our sponsorship of Lekhwiya Sports Club, which is one of the leading names in the Qatar football scene and the QSL defending champions.
