Qatar Indian Thowheed Centre (QITC), a forum of Tamil speaking Muslim expatriates from India, organised an Islamic seminar on Thursday.Qatar Islamic Cultural Centre (Fanar) supervisor Shuwar Ahmad was the chief guest. He gave a lecture in Urdu, urging all Muslims to spread the teachings of Qur’an and Sunnah. Islamic scholar working in Saudi Markaz, Abdus Samad Madani gave the translation in Tamil. Earlier, local scholar of QITC, Thameem gave a lecture on ‘Small acts, Big Rewards.’ QITC deputy treasurer Iliyas welcomed the gathering and the president Dr Ahmad Ebrahim presided. General secretary Mohamed Ali proposed a vote of thanks. Many people including women and children attended the seminar.
