RasGas employees have once again shown their commitment to education by pro-actively engaging with the local community by supporting ‘The Power to Educate’ which was linked to RasGas’ Employee Forum Celebrations.As part of the company’s programme, RasGas employees donated nearly 400 school back packs filled up with stationery supplies suitable for both boys and girls. The RasGas ‘School Back Pack’ campaign collection of back packs were donated to the Qatar Orphan Foundation (Dhreima). “I am pleased with the very positive response to our ‘School Back Pack’ campaign from RasGas employees,” said RasGas’ managing director Hamad Rashid al-Mohannadi.“This initiative demonstrates that at RasGas we believe in making a difference – particularly to the education and development of our young people. “We hope that our donation will help make learning a pleasurable experience for the young students. This gift, the gift of education, will last a lifetime.”Dhreima Orphanage director Hassan Mannan said: “We are grateful for RasGas employees’ contribution in providing our students with useful tools to support their education.
