School holds cultural fiesta

Pak Shama School has celebrated its annual cultural fiesta with skits, songs and dances by students.The Pakistan embassy counsellor, Anwar Ali, was the chief guest. School management committee president M A Shahid, a large number of community members and parents were present.In her welcome speech, principal Nabila Kaukab highlighted the salient features of the event, which was based on the theme ‘Pakistani Culture on Wheels.’ She lauded the efforts of teachers and students who made the occasion a success. KG students kicked off the festivities by performing a song about mother. It was followed by skit performances.The teachers who coached the students included M Rafique, Asmatullah, Shujah, Mohsin, Raza, Farooq, Shoaib, Abid, Amjad, Moeen, Naddy, G H Sajid, Murad, Rana Haider, Sabiha, Alia, Majida, Farah, Shamim, Anum, Maria, Uzma, Nazakat. Summrah Ghauri and Muzaffar Hussain compered.
