Knowledge transfer is also the aim of the charity; it is not just about monetary donations, he said. “CNA-Q has a wealth of knowledge that they are happy to share and transfer to those countries in need,” al-Mannai added.Dr MacLeod and al-Mannai also discussed teacher quality and English language training during a pre-event meeting. “I see this as a very exciting partnership,” said Dr MacLeod while explaining that CNA-Q has a large amount of technology at the college that quickly gets updated.“We can transfer it to Rota and they are able to transfer it to countries in need. We also have a high level of expertise at the college that we can mobilise on short notice for a number of projects,” he said.
