A new four-star hotel, Coral Hotel Doha, will start to host guests on a trial basis this month, businessman Mohamed Abdulaziz al-Emadi, has said.
The QR200mn hotel boasts of 202 rooms and a large multi-event hall for conferences or wedding parties that can host up to 380 persons.
The hall can be partitioned into four when needed. The hotel is built over an area of 1,700sq m.

Al-Emadi said that there is a huge restaurant that offers Arabian, Turkish, Armenian, Indian and Iranian dishes.
During the trial period, seven floors would be in operation while the official opening of the hotel would be announced when all the 14 floors are ready.
The hotel is located 4km from the Doha International Airport and close to the Banks Avenue, Fanar centre and Souq Wakif.
Al-Emadi said the hotel’s location is an advantage for visiting businessmen.
According to hotel officials, the hotel features a women-only floor that comprises a beauty saloon and a large hall named "Dardash” (chatting room).
The officials said that no liquor will be served in the hotel and it is targeted at businesspersons and families from the GCC zone "looking for privacy”.
Al-Emadi expects that in 2013 there would be a shortage of hotels in Doha especially after the inauguration of the causeway linking Bahrain and Qatar and other projects like the Lusail city. "Therefore, we need to be ready to avoid such deficit by establishing more hotels.”
The Coral Hotel Doha currently employs 100 persons, the management said.
