Qatari Diar signs pact with Spanish govt

At the talks held at the Emiri Diwan the two sides reviewed bilateral relations and means of enhancing them in several sectors. A set of other regional and international issues of mutual concern was also taken up.
Following the talks, the prime minister and foreign minister and the Spanish Prime Minister witnessed the signing of the MoU between Qatar Diar Real Estate Investment Company and Spain.
The MOU was signed by the Chief Executive of Diar Group Mohamed Ali al-Hedfa and Spanish Ambassador to Qatar Juan Jose Santos-Aguado.
Addressing a press conference, HE the Prime Minister said HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani has discussed with Spanish Prime Minister during their meeting yesterday bilateral relations and the regional and international issues of mutual concern in addition to areas of investment between Qatar and Spain.
The Prime Minister said that the Emir will pay a state visit to Spain in April, stressing that thevisit would boost Qatari-Spanish relations.
Then the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister hosted a luncheon in honour of the Spanish prime minister and his accompanying delegation.
Later in the evening the Spanish prime minister left Doha after a two-day official visit to Qatar.
He was seen off at Doha International Airport by the Chief of HE the Premier’s Protocol Ahmed Jassim al-Mulla and Qatar’s Ambassador to Spain Hamad bin Hamad al-Attiyah.
