PM holds official talks with British premier

HE the Minister of Energy and Industry Dr Mohamed bin Saleh al-Sada and CEO of Centrica Liquefied Gas Company Limited Sam Laidlaw signing an agreement in Doha yesterday
HE Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor al-Thani held a round of official talks at the Emiri Diwan yesterday with British Prime Minister David Cameron.
The talks were attended by a number of Qatari ministers. Attending the talks on the British side were members of the official delegation accompanying the British prime minister.
The two sides reviewed bilateral relations and means of enhancing them in several domains. 
A set of other regional and international issues of joint interest was also taken up.  
Following the talks, the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister and the British prime minister witnessed the signing of an initial agreement between the Qatargas Operating Company Limited and (Centrica) Liquefied Gas Company Limited and a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Qatar National Olympic Committee (QNOC) and the British Olympic Association.
The agreement and the MoU were signed for Qatar by HE the Minister of Energy and Industry Dr Mohamed bin Saleh al-Sada and Secretary General of QNOC HE Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman al-Thani. On the British side they were signed by the CEO of Centrica Liquefied Gas Company Limited Sam Laidlaw and Chairman of the British Olympic Association Lord Moynihan.
Later the Prime Minister hosted a luncheon in honour of the British delegation.
The British premier was welcomed upon arrival at Doha International Airport by HE the  Minister of State for International Cooperation Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah ,  Qatar’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom Khalid Rashid al-Mansouri and British Ambassador to Qatar John Hawkins.
