Qtel ‘Snap and Win’ winners named

Winners of Qtel’s  ‘Snap and Win’ contest

The winners of Qtel’s "Snap and Win” contest in which hundreds participated and highlighted Qatar’s photographic talent, have been named.
The contest was to find the most popular image snapped with a mobile phone. The pictures were submitted for review on Qtel’s Facebook page, which boasts of over 70,000 "friends”.
With first prizes of top-of-the-range LCD TVs, competition was fierce.
The top winners were Farhan Shafiq, Nausheer Ahmed and Farid Abboud.
Runners-up received a range of prizes including cameras and digital photo frames.
The competition, which ran until January 12, allowed participants to enter an unlimited number of photographs.
Public voting took place on the Facebook page, with the pictures with highest number of votes winning the top places.
