| LG TV - LZ9700 being launched in Qatar |
With full HD resolution on an LED display, the 72-in television - LZ9700 delivers pictures "as large and colourful as paintings at an art gallery”, LG executives said while launching the TV in Doha yesterday.
The "extra spacious” screen size also makes the picture "more immersive” than ever, offering viewers a 3D experience "every bit as good” as the screen in the local multiplex.
The state-of-the-art TV is also fitted with LG’s "latest smart technologies” making it possible to access information about travel, health and anything else by using the contents cube feature. Viewers can also enjoy video streaming from YouTube and photos via Google’s free web photo service, Picasa.
By merely pointing a ‘Magic Motion’ remote control at the ‘onscreen option’s and clicking’ viewers can easily find the channels or settings.
LG Electronics president (Gulf) H.S.Paik said with thousands of LED lamps intensely lighting up the screen, the TV can reproduce even more vivid and detailed pictures to deliver the ultimate picture quality.
"The LZ9700 combines the ultimate in LG’s 3D picture quality with our latest developments in connectivity and smart technology. With the LZ9700, LG is poised to take the lead in the 3D TV market with a clearer, bigger screen that delivers a truly outstanding 3D experience. We are pleased to bring this unprecedented level of 3D entertainment to Qatar and look forward to further advancing our home entertainment offering in the region as a whole,” Paik said.
Video Home director and general manager C.V.Rappai said there was already a good response for the LZ9700 television, which is "competitively” priced at QR35,000.
Executive Director Sajid Jassim Sulaiman said the LG’s largest full LED 3D television was way ahead of competition in picture quality and size. LZ9700 is 59 inches wide and 40in tall.
